Oden launches new ATF site in South West

Due to the success of their Hampshire ATF site, Oden have now opened another ATF facility in Somerset. The site acquisition took place a year ago, with a view to service their clients based in The West. The resolution being reduced collection mileage, thus improving their carbon footprint. Significant investment has seen the implementation of improved security, new data erasure suite, biomass plant and collection vehicle.

Paul Seward MD said "We are proud of the new site which complements our HQ in Fareham. Oden is growing rapidly; the new site not only enables us to be more reactive to collections, but will also significantly increase volume".

The new Somerset facility has just achieved the approval of the Environment Agency to operate as an ATF (Authorised Treatment Facility) which is the highest tier of an electronic recycling site.

Oden can compliantly collect and treat all WEEE waste streams. However they are a market leader in decommissioning IT estates whilst providing NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) certified data erasure and destruction. New Data protection GDPR requires organisations to not only maintain their data in a secure environment, but to be able to prove sanitisation when their equipment is retired.

A strong team and process, already established at their HQ, provides a compliant service. The experience gained from delivering value and security to their current clients for over 10 years will enable the new site to replicate the successes of the flagship operation.

To maintain continuity all collection requests are being booked through the HQ, so to book your secure collection call today.
